King George

King George cut his teeth at the Paramount as one of the founding members of Chicanobuilt, Santa Fe’s longest-running and most successful hip hop night to date. After moving to Manhattan, he furthered his musical education DJ’ing in many bars and lounges in the Lower East Side. He returned to Santa Fe to be resident DJ at Swig, Santa Fe’s hottest nightclub at the time.

With the closing of Swig and Paramount, King George started the Silver 502 with Collective member, Ché. Hosted on the historic train, these parties sold out every week and were some of the most eclectic and amazing parties Santa Fe has ever seen. Now, King George is proud to bring Santa Fe the next chapter of disco history, with his new residency at Santa Fe’s premiere nightclub, Rouge Cat, where he mixes everything from hip-hop, to rock, and house classics, along with new dance floor anthems and fresh underground records. He’s opened up for hip hop’s greatest to electronic music’s finest, from Apollo, Shortkut, Vin-Roc, Ozomatli, and Nas, to Heather, Diz, and Kaskade. Check out his mixes here.
